Bill Moss Limited Edition Print "Steamer Greater Detroit" Signed by Artist!

Up for bid is a Limited Edition Bill Moss Print "Steamship Greater Detroit" 96/750 and Signed! The S.S. Greater Detroit was one of two of the largest Steamships ever built. It was over 536 Feet long and had a 96 Foot Beam. These ships were known as "Floating Palaces", with beautiful woodworking throughout. After the 1950's Steamships were replaced. They were led out to the middle of Lake St. Clair and set a blaze! When moving the S.S. Greater Detroit they had to cut the 6,000 Lbs. Anchor, leaving it at the bottom of the Detroit River for over 60 years. On 11/15/16 the anchor was recovered and is on display outside the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority in Detroit!
